MTI wishes Charles Strouse a Happy 80th!

Last week, in the heart of Times Square, MTI CEO Freddie Gershon presented the incomparable Charles Strouse with the MTI Birthday Book - made up of your notes and wishes to this amazing composer to help celebrate his 80th Birthday! Peter James from Broadwayworld was there to cover the event.

MTI asked former cast members (famous and otherwise), theatre directors, schoolteachers & students to share their birthday wishes for Mr. Strouse - and we had such an overwhelming response, it took a 5-inch thick book to hold them all!
Seth Rudetsky and Sirius radio were there and interviewed Mr. Strouse and "the original Annie" Andrea McArdle for an upcoming ALL ABOUT ANNIE episode of SIRIUS ON BROADWAY. This episode will be broadcast Sunday, December 14 at 11AM (EST). Rebroadcasts: Tue., Dec. 16th @ 7 am ET; Wed., Dec. 17th @ 12 pm ET.
