Rob Heath joined Josef Weinberger in 1993 and has spent practically his entire working life managing the financial affairs of arts based businesses.
Having started in a Chartered Accountancy practice in 1986 before passing into financial management of the visual Arts and then the Music Business in 1990, managing the Treasury and Finances of (Hi-profile) Artist’ concerts whilst on European tours, Rob has enjoyed an enviable equilibrium between the rigidity of financial compliance and the creativity of the theatrical and music business.
In his early years at Josef Weinberger, Rob was an active member of the PRS/MCPS Royalty group, the New Technology group and the Media Group.
Rob has been involved in and assisted with many business start-ups and early stage planning and financing ventures. He is a long-term Member of: The Institute of Directors (UK); The Institute of Financial Accountants (UK) and The Institute of Public Accountants (Australia). He is bilingual, (English-French) and has a working knowledge of German.
Working with world-wide Agents has also enabled Rob to become knowledgeable on global Withholding Taxes from both a Corporate and also Author/Composer’s perspective and he has an extensive knowledge of the Global Payments and Foreign Exchange industries.
When not looking after the financial affairs of the business, Rob spends much of his free time indulging his passion for Photography and (previously) painting, being a regular exhibitor around Europe and the U.S. He is a Member of the Royal Photographic Society and advanced Member of the World Photographic Organisation.
