Working WITH and FOR children of all ages within my deeply-rooted arts community in Northeast Wisconsin, I was the instrumental leader in launching our nonprofit youth arts organization in 2012. Guided by a diverse Board of Directors, we focus exclusively on educating and showcasing youth, ages 6-18, as they develop countless life skills through theater experiences. I lead by example, combining experienced artistic vision with extensive business leadership skills to oversee all programming, financial management, grant writing, fundraising events, marketing, and cast/crew communication efforts. In 2022, we added an Education Director and Office Manager to assist with daily operations and to reach for families in our community.
To ensure consistently high-quality productions, I serve as Producer for each musical, supervising and collaborating with each set of fresh, contracted production staff members. In addition, I coordinate all efforts of community arts enthusiasts and those required of our cast families. A personal highlight of every year, I serve as Choreographer for the 15-minute competition piece that we bring to the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta. We continually seek out theatrical educators (both local and out of state) to share their knowledge and experiences through workshops and classes.
