Shows in Literature
Though musical theater is a diverse medium, one of the things that many shows have in common is that they're adapted from stories told in other forms. Whether drawing from novels, plays, poems or children’s stories, the MTI collection has a number of great musicals based on rich source material, and over the next year we'll be highlighting these titles in a series called MTI Shows in Literature.
Currently, we have features for VIOLET, ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, SPRING AWAKENING, DAMN YANKEES, THE APPLE TREE and ALL IN LOVE. Each week we'll add a new show and article to the list, so the best way to keep up to date with the latest piece is to click the Shows in Literature Category on the MTI Marquee.
